TOPIC:

Do you think that the government should provide more support for unemployed people?
(英検準1級 2016年第3回より)

My answer
:

The cost of living in the city requires you to make at least 150,000 yen for a shelter and water, gas and electricity bills.

However once one loses a job, it is very difficult to keep physical and mental health through he or she just can receive about 70,000 yen per month.

And it is not easy for unemployed people to get a job again because they are handicapped by the bad image of their unemployment.

They need to acquire new skill for covering it.

Many companies require people seeking a job to use computer efficiently.

So the government should provide job training for them to get computer skill.

Through the job training, they might get the confidence and motivation to work.

Finally the government offers the insurance, however it is not enough to get out of their poverty.

I think the government should be more supportive for them.

I write about my personality.

My caregiver's job is to interact with elderly people.

I like being around them.

However I want to spend private time alone because I can devote myself to play video games, wacth movies and go shopping.

In this January I went a trip to Shimane prefecture alone in 3 days.

I enjoyed visiting famous spots and eating the food like soba and znzai (sweet of adzuki beans).

Though the trip, I noticed that I like to make a plan by myself.

And I have the interest of visiting new places.

This year I want to go to many places I have not visited in my private time alone.

January is usually freezing season in Japan.

Today was very cold in my area: the lowest temparature was -1℃ in the morning.

The wind also was strong and cold.

Though the today's weather is good, humidity was very low, under 40%.

So I had dry my throat and eyes.

The season is easy to be cold and virus diseases like influenza and norovirus.

In this month 3 of my friends suffer from influenza.

Because these virus has strong infection I must be careful as caregiver.

However January is the start of blooming Japanese apricot trees.

I find they were blooming today.

And I feel the spring coming.
